Birt Ihub F-Type and Scripted Data Source Error 17070
Larry Kiniu

Hi,

I have a few reports developed with Birt report designer on eclipse. When I upload the reports on the iHub F-Type server, reports that use a database data source work fine while those with scripted data source give the error 17070. What could be the problem?

Hi,

The problem could be that your Scripted Data Source calls a Java class to get its data. If that is the case, you need to publish the jar file that contains the class needed in your Scripted Data Source to the Resources folder of iHub. Also, you need to add a reference to that jar file in your report design by going to the Properties of your report, General --> Resources.

Let me know if this helps,
