Actually, although this is NOT officially supported, it turns out to be a bit easier than I think that thread discussed. I believe the following (all one line) in the iw.cfg will do it for you.

custom_menu_item_newjob="File", "New Job", "iwnewjob.cgi", "author", "scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,menubar=no,width=640,height=570"
