OD upgrade 5.6

Iam sure some of you might faced this problem. It is win2k environment, upgrading to OD 5.6 from 4.x. I have 115 users and 85 deployment descriptors...

I think u can uderstand now, Is there any way I can add the users and assign corresponding deployment descriptor to each users without doing it manually for each in the UI.

Unfortunately, the UI is the only way presently to assign user authorization rights to deployments.

Are all 115 users going to be initiating deployments via the OD Admin UI? Will each user be authorized to run a different set of deployments?

Depending upon your usage model, you could utilize the CLTs or hide the CLTs beneath something like a workflow. Then you don't need to set up user auth's. Or you could set up a shared account that multiple users login to OpenDeploy with.

There's an open feature request for non-UI based authorization controls (FR #28821). Please email me and I'll add your company to the interested parties list for that request.
