Eclipse Series books
p.gonzales

The two eclipse series books 'Integrating and extending Birt 3rd edition' and 'Birt a Field Guide' Mention newsgroups and mailing lists, are those still active? Are these books a good place to start with Birt after the initial setup? I want to get started making dynamic reports. For example reports that have different amounts of rows and columns in a excel spreadsheet. Would you recommend starting with these books?

The Eclipse BIRT Newsgroup can be found on the eclipse.org/birt site under community.

Hope this helps.

No problem. Definitely if you have questions, ask them here, in the forums. Lots of experience with BIRT in the community.
Good luck!
