BIRT Try Catch?
megabri
<p>I have a BIRT report that's using a stored procedure. When the code hits the stored procedure it works fine but in the log I get a big error that starts with "java.sql.SQLException: Cannot perform fetch on a PLSQL statement: next". I want to use a try catch but i'm not sure how to do it in BIRT. Here's the code I have in my beforeFactory:</p>
<p> </p>
<div>sprocDataSet = MXReportDataSetProvider.create("maximoDataSource", "sprocDataSet");</div>
<div>sprocDataSet.open();</div>
<div>var spsql = new String();</div>
<div> </div>
<div>spsql = "call LIRR_RPT_ES_BRG_INS_PROC('" + params["wonum"] + "', '')";</div>
<div>scriptLogger.debug("STORED PROCEDURE: " + spsql);</div>
<div>sprocDataSet.setQuery(spsql);<span> </span></div>
<div> </div>
<div>if (sprocDataSet.fetch())</div>
<div>scriptLogger.debug("In Fetch");</div>
<div> </div>
<div>sprocDataSet.close();</div>
