Items on a dashboard change size

I have noticed that when i am making changes to my dashboard the font of some of my items has changed as well as the size of the text. I am also noticing that the size of some of the gadgets is also changes as if they are being set to their defaults. Is there a way to prevent this from happening??

Best example i can think of:
 
On one of the tabs on my dashboard I have 4 different gauges. When you first create then they are rather large. In order to make them all fit on to the page I made them smaller. Sometimes when i load up the dashboard the gauges are then at the original size that they were created as. It doesn't do this every time it does do it occasionally which could be a problem.

Sorry, I have not seen this behavior. If you can create a reproducible case then we can look at it.
