Value not printing when same as row above

Hi,
 
This is my first time posting a question, so please have patience

I have a BIRT report where the sub data set pulls the individual rows back and one of the columns is a price. The price is not printing if it is the same as the value above and I cannot seem to find out why. So for example, if there are 10 items on the report and they all have the same cost, it is only printing on line 1 and then the rest are blank. I have searched and cannot find any kind of a setting and need help!
 
Please let me know if you have any suggestions?

When you say the price is not printing are you referring to it not displaying in the data set preview option or when displayed on the report?
If they are not displaying on the report, do you have the data cells in a table or directly placed in a grid or some other element?
 
Also would it be possible to attach your design file to examine (please remove any sensitive information such as data source information first) and a screenshot of the issue so we have a better understanding?

I don't get any results when I do a preview of the data set. That's how all of my reports are I though because it is in a subdataset and the key for the record is passed from the main dataset? I can get the same results when I preview the entire report (not just the data set) in Eclipse or run it in Maximo (see attached screen shot).
 
Yes I have the data cells in a table.
 
Attached is my design file and some screen shots. The first screen shot is the report in the Browser and the second screen shot is the data in sql.
 
I have done several tests and have narrowed it down to this happening only when there are two or more consecutive rows with the same value. The example I am showing you, all of the rows have the same cost.

Sorry for the delayed response. Looking over the design I am not sure what could be causing this.
However I see the following line in the "subDataSet" open method:
Line 22: subDataSet.setQueryParameterValue(1, rows[0]["asc_snnum"]);
 
Could you try commenting out that line (Line 22), and then hard code the value in the query on line 16: (+ " where invuseline.asc_snnum = ? ") to see if the results change in the report design?
 
Another thing to try is to change the [receivedunit] data cell to [unitcost] to see if it displays all the values to rule out a possible unknown variable that is effecting the [unitcost] column.

I have had some odd occurrences from time to time. Just for the heck of it, try deleting it and then add it back. If that fails delete it and the output column and add them back.
