Workarea value in PT

GodBlessMe

Hi,
I am trying to get the current workarea value in the Presentation template. Is there any tag to get this?
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
Thanks

Dunno if there might be a more efficient way, but this is how I do it...
#-------------------------------------------------------------------
#figures out path to current workarea by finding the complete tpl path
my $template = iwpt_get_pt_name();
my ($null,$iwmnt,$defaultdir,$maindir,$branch,$w,$WAName,$tpldir,$category,$type,$p,$tpl) = split /\//, $template;

I have used this code in past.

<iw_perl>
my($pt, $dcr, $ofile, $wa);
for(my $i = 0; $i < @ARGV; $i += 2){
$pt = $ARGV[$i+1], next if ($ARGV[$i] =~ /^-pt$/);
$dcr = $ARGV[$i+1], next if ($ARGV[$i] =~ /^-iw_pt-dcr$/);
$ofile = $ARGV[$i+1], next if ($ARGV[$i] =~ /^-ofile$/);
$wa = $ARGV[$i+1], next if ($ARGV[$i] =~ /^-iw_include-location$/);
}
iwpt_output("($pt)($dcr)($ofile)($wa)
\n");
</iw_perl>

Hope this helps!

Are you looking for just the workarea name - or the workarea vpath?

For the former, I think the following would be sufficient:
(my $waname = iwpt_get_dcr_name()) =~ s|^.*/WORKAREA/([^/]+)/.*$|$1|;

For the latter:
(my $wavpath = iwpt_get_dcr_name()) =~ s|^.*(/default/WORKAREA/[^/]+)/.*$|$1|;

Hope that helps.

Hi,
This is simple. We have by default an IW tag to fecth the current path of ur tpl file. Split the value with templatedata
code:
my $ptpath=iwpt_get_pt_name();
$WA =~s/\\/\//g;
$WA =~ s/\/templatedata.*//;

Hope this solves ur problem?
