<p>I would like to automatically run Maximo - BIRT reports, with no clicks, from an external application. Can anyone offer some suggestions / links as to first steps to getting this done? </p>

<p>Here are some details about what I'm trying to get in place:</p>

<p>- Status of a workorder changes, triggering BIRT report generation</p>
<p>- BIRT report is generated for a given workorder</p>
<p>- BIRT report is saved (somewhere)</p>
<p>- BIRT report is Attached to workorder.</p>

<p>Possible solution #1:</p>
<p>1) C# middleware polls Maximo for database changes. (I'm already doing this for something else)</p>
<p>2) Workorder status triggers C# middleware to Run a Maximo-BIRT report (This is the key step I need help with.... <span style="color:rgb(178,34,34);">How do I do this?</span> </p>
<p>3) C# middleware attaches PDF report to the workorder (I don't think this is hard).</p>
