Updating back to MySQL DB

<p>I've got my BIRT connected to MySQL db and have a simple table displayed in the report</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For one of the table items I am performing calculation and when I generate the report with the calculated result, I want this to be updated back to the db. What's the best method to do this?</p>
