line chart interactivity

<p>I am new to BIRT and trying to create an interactive line chart. I want the line chart to link to another report when a data point is clicked on the chart. Cannot find how this can be achieved. Can someone please guide me in the right direction. Thanks!</p>

<p>On the format chart tab select the value series. There is a button for interactivity. Click on it and select event Mouse click and action hyperlink. The all you need to do is add the hyperlink definition just like any other hyperlink. The image below is for a bar chart but a line chart is exactly the same.</p>
