How to create a "securearea"?
meikel
HI,
my customer works fine with TS.
Now he has the following wish.
Some (very secret (until deploy)) Information (stock-info, press releases) has to be edited in a secure workarea.
In this "securearea" only two people have access. And when a page is submitted, it has to be deployed immediatly.
"Getlatest" to other WA must be disabled!
What is the best practice for a secure workarea?
regards

Hi Meikel,
One place you can start is with this TechNote
50172 Stopping Teamsite Authenticated Users from Viewing Unauthorized Content on the TeamSite 5.5 Server
http://devnet.interwoven.com/site.fcgi/techlib/50172
By default, iwproxy allows any authenticated Teamsite user to view any file in Teamsite. This article explains how to allow the administrator to specify files for which iwproxy should verify the user's ability to read the file.
As to "And when a page is submitted, it has to be deployed immediatly" that should be a straight-forward workflow.
Re: "Getlatest" to other WA must be disabled!
If the content hasn't been submitted then doing a Get Latest in another workarea won't get the content. As the information is only secret until it is deployed then it doesn't appear that you need to worry about disabling Get Latest.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Michael
