Passing parameters to the DataSource in Java code

<p>As in the report to pass the url of the database, user name, password in Java code using the birt report engine api ?</p>

<p>Within the Data Source of the report design, you can override the JDBC Driver URL, Username and Password within the Property Binding menu to specify the value of a parameter. For Example: params["paramname"].value;</p>

<p>Within your Java code, you would then pass these parameters to the report design.</p>
