access rights from workarea matches instagingarea?

HI,
in a workarea i have a closed (by systemrights) folder with secret :-) pages.
When they will be submitted into StagingArea is the same folder in StagingArea closed too?

Are you running Solaris? If so, then the submission will remove the +w attributes of the files, so it won't be writable. Other attributes will be maintained, unless you're using submit filters.

You probably should mark the files private, then they won't be submitted when you run the submit workflow.

If this "secret" folder has a uniquely identifying name or path, you could set up your submit.cfg to ensure that it has the correct permissions set on it (and or contents within it) when submitted.

I believe the access rights should then be maintained. If you find this isn't so - please contact Interwoven Support so that it can be reproduced and filed to be fixed.
