Remove the filter option from Parameters pop-up
D_Petrov

Hello,

I have a 2 columns (ID int and Name string) dataset used to feed a parameter.

By default the filter option gets integer not string and this value is passed to a stored procedure.
The users are entering string values and they receive an error, because the parameter expect int, not string.

I would like to remove/hide the filter option and leave only the dropdown.

Is it possible and how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Which version of BIRT are you using?

Could you attach a sample report that has this type of parameter configuration that we can see/run for reference?

Hello,

My version is 4.4.1

The report (Cross tab filtered by 3 parameters - 2 dropdowns and 1 checkbox) is based entirely on SQL procedures, which are confidential...

I am trying just to disable/hide the filter option below the dropdown.

Based on the screenshot alone it looks like you are using a combo box for the parameter.

Changing the parameter to a list box instead will remove the second box and only display the drop down list.
