First series in bar chart is showing incorrect values when some values are zero and some non-zero
nairwen

Hi,

I'm trying to make a report which shows hostnames on x-axis and a number of occurrences of events on y-axis.

My report shows the following data as you can see on the picture:

host1: series1 (event1) = 1, ...

host2: series1 (event1) = 1, ...

host3: series1 (event1) = 1, ...

But the actual data are:

host1: series1 (event1) = 1, ...

host2: series1 (event1) = 0, ...

host3: series1 (event1) = 0, ...

So there are incorrect values shown for host2 and host3. This happens when some values on series1 are zero and some non-zero, then the zero values are not correctly represented.

Is there any way to hide series with zero values?

Best regards,

You could filter those values out of your chart.

What does the data look like for your chart for both series? Also, what's your BIRT version?

Hi Michael,

thanks for quick response. I'm using BIRT version 4.3.2.

The data for the chart looks like this:
host1 - event1 = 1, event2 = 10, event3 = 4
host2 - event1 = 0, event2 = 10, event3 = 4
host3 - event1 = 0, event2 = 5, event3 = 2

But the chart is showing wrong values for host2 and host3 as you can see on the picture.

Solved it. There was an error in one of the scripts.

Thanks anyway!
