Bypassing iHub 3 authentication process
vchenna

We are using iHub 3 to show the reports designed in Actuate BIRT Designer Professional. These reports show the data related to another application which has a separate authentication system. We want user to login to iHub with credentials which he uses for other application. We used a client service of the other application to validate the user inside the iPortal Security Adapter Class. After validating the user, we hard coded the ihub credentials. But it may lead to security issues.

So, Could anyone please suggest me an approach to bypass the authentication system without hard coding iHub credentials.

Thanks in advance.

Use the security extension documented here - <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

.

That being said I would highly recommend using our professional services for this task. They have done this may times in the past and can make sure there are no security holes and it performs well
