To confirm, you are wanting to use IDAPI from within a BIRT Report to obtain details about the job schedule on the iServer?

Could you provide some more details on the use case for this type of design?

Yes. I want to use IDAPI from within a BIRT Report and to get the details about job schedule on the iServer. I don't know how to use IDAPI in BIRT Report. But I need job schedule details, if I pass the job id to the report. Could you please provide me some examples regarding this?

Thanks,

What version of BIRT and the iHub/iServer are you using?

Attached is a sample report that uses IDAPI to login in to the iServer and obtain the job details of a specific job based on the Job ID provided through the parameter when the report is run. It outputs details about the job into the text element within the report design.

You will need to change the server URL, user, password, and volume name to align with your environment.

In this example, to simplify things, I have used the IDAPI Wrapper.

You can obtain the IDAPI Wrapper from GitHub here: https://github.com/puckpuck/idapi-wrapper/tree/iServer

;

You will need to include all of the IDAPI library jars as resources for the report design. These can be found in the lib of the IDAPI Wrapper.

You will also need to build the IDAPI Wrapper into a jar to include as a resource for the report design.
