Are you using iHub 3 or iHub 3.1?

If you are using 3.1, the new REST API that was introduced can be used to obtain this information.

The REST API documentation can be found here: <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

I believe the best option is probably to look towards upgrading to 3.1 and using the REST API.

However, there are some others options available with a 3.0 release depending on your use case.

Could you let me know your use case for how you are wanting to use this information within your environment/application?

With this information I should be able to help guide you to the available resources.

Hi Jesse,

We have been upgraded to iHub3.1. Could you please guide me how I can get user groups which are belongs to user name like 'syarra'. I have seen like "localhost:5000/ihub/v1/users/1000010/usergroups" where userid in database is 1000010. I have user name like 'syarra' then i need to get user groups whichever groups he is in.

Meanwhile Is any REST API It will give list of files in given folder name and full folder path till to parent folder in ihub3.1 ex: path is /Home/spm/ and folderName is abc.

Thanks,

You can you use the GET /users to obtain the user ID of the user and then use the GET /users/{userId}/usergroups to obtain the list of groups the user belongs to.

You can use the GET /folders to obtain a list of folders and the IDs in a specified directory. Then you can use the ID of the desired folder with GET /files to obtain a list of all files within the specified folder.

You should take a look at the interactive REST API documentation. It can be accessed in your environment at http://hostname:5000/ihub/v1/ihubrestdocs/
