Data Model Security

Hi,

Is there any way we can achieve the data security for the Data Models by using ACL, the similar way where we can apply data security for the Data Sets and Data Cubes.

Thanks,

Raghav.

The data model should inherit the ACL from the data set that was used to generate the data model.

Take a look at the attached example.

Suppose in my data design i am having 3 data sets and i'm applying ACL to only 1 data set, my Data Model uses all 3 datasets. If i generate a report using the same Data model in which the table contains the columns of other 2 Data sets then also the Data Security is Achieved??

Are you using a joined data set or are they all 3 separate data sets?

If they are all separate data sets, the ACL should only apply to the data in the data set that has the security configured.
