I'm not sure I understanding exactly what you ask.

Can you please provide more details on what you are wanting to know about using RSSE with a flat file?

A good place to start with implementing an RSSE is the documentation here: http://developer.actuate.com/be/documentation/ihub3-dev/aig-main/index.html#page/aig/UsingJavaRSSE.html

;

An example of an RSSE implementation can be found on GitHub here: <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

I am trying to implement the Example file of RSSE implementation present in this link https://github.com/ActuateBIRT/ServerIntegrationRSSEExampleand
i'm using the trail version of IHub F-Type 3.1, so i am unable to use System Console for Configuring IHUB for the necessary RSSE SOAP Parameters. So what are the changes to be made to the acserverconfig.xml

Implementing a custom RSSE with an F-Type installation is not supported. You will need to look towards upgrading to a full iHub license in order to implement a custom RSSE.

An F-Type installation can be configured to use an Active Directory or LDAP to externalize users/groups however, this is done with a specific utility that configures the F-Type to use the bundled LDAP Adapter.

The LDAP Adapter utility can be found in the DevShare here: http://developer.actuate.com/community/forum/index.php?/files/file/1104-utility-to-enable-ldap-with-birt-ihub-f-type/

;

I have also written a blog post on using the utility here: http://blogs.actuate.com/how-to-configure-birt-ihub-f-type-to-use-active-directory-or-ldap/
