<div> this.text = data.replaceAll("<p ","<span ").replaceAll("<p>","<span>").replaceAll("</p>","</span><br/>").replaceAll("face=\"Arial\"","");</div>
<div>} else {</div>
<div> this.text = "";</div>

<p>What version of BIRT are you using?</p>
<p>Can you provide a sample of the HTML used to create the bullet list?</p>
Matthew L.
<p>As Jesse indicated, could you please provide us some sample data or a sample report to replicate the issue?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Also, depending on how the data is defined you could modify the <span style> tags on the fly to shorten the bullet point spacing.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Attached is my example with code block using static sizing below for reference:</p>
<pre class="_prettyXprint _lang-html">
<div>Title</div>
<ul style="padding-top:0em;padding-left:1em;list-style-position:inside;">
<li><span style="position: relative; left: -0.5em;">Text 1: -0.5em</span></li>
<li><span style="position: relative; left: 0em;">Text 2: 0.em</span></li>
<li><span style="position: relative; left: 0.5em;">Text 3: 0.5em</span></li>
<li><span style="position: relative; left: 1em;">Text 4: 1em</span></li>
</ul>
</pre>
