Problem with using external database to save volume metadata

<div>We are facing problems while trying to connect to an external database(EnterpriseDB) through iHub server. </div>

<div>We have BIRT iHUB 3.1 server (Product Version:BIRT iHub 3.1 (Build 231A150206)) and have done default installation. After that we are connecting to an external database using the cluster database switcher tool, following the System Administrator guide at -</div>

<p>EnterpriseDB is not supported as a database to be used for the iHub's metadata. The only 2 database supported for housing the iHub's metadata are PostgreSQL and Oracle.</p>

<p>If you would like to use EnterpriseDB as a data source for report data, that should be possible. However, it will not work for metadata. That will need to be specific version of PostgreSQL or Oracle.</p>
