Parameter that will hide or display long description

<p>I am fairly new to BIRT and am trying to figure out a parameter command that will allow you to pick yes or no to show/not show the long description on a report.  If you enter yes it displays and if you pick no the long description is hidden. </p>

<p>use an expression like; BirtStr.toUpper(params["show"].value)== "N"</p>

<p>Click on the long description element in your layout, then go to the properties tab and choose visibility, hide the element and use the above expression</p>
