Deafult "Generate" Folder

Is there a way to set the Default Folder for "Generate" per category? (i.e., when you click GENERATE, the folder that shows up to save the page to..)

I think there may have been a feature request filed for that, but I don't believe it has been implemented in any of the current versions of the product. If you don't get a more definitive answer you might try asking Interwoven Support to see if they can find out the information for you, and to add your company to the list of interested parties.

I think more and more implementations are tending to avoid having users issue the Generate command manually and are instead wrapping the naming process (for both DCR and generated files) within workflow scripts. While it might seem to reduce a bit of the "freedom" for the user, it does tend to lead to more manageable processes, cleaner automation, and more consistent naming for files (which eventually become URLs)...
