Default value for the second level drop down from cascading parameter group.

Hello,
 
There are some articles in the web about that , but no cure inside them. 
I modified ComboBoxParameterFragment.jsp and AbstractParameterDialog.js to fix the issue with the null value at the top of the List Box and it is working, but does not affect the Combo box control. 
Is there currently trick to fix the issue with the empty top value of a Combo Box re-loaded by another Combo box in a cascading parameter group? 
I am trying to put the default value always at the top after reload.

The HTML <option> tags are dynamically created in AbstractParameterDialog.js.
 
I'm not sure how you fixed the null value issue, but assuming that this is default (untouched) version of the .js you can modify line 105 (in my OS BIRT 4.4.2 version) to start the counter at 1 instead of 0 so that the empty <option value=""></option> is not created.
 
Before:
