HttpServletRequest from a ScriptedDataSource?

Hi,
 
I need to access to the HttpServletRequest object of the servlet running the report and do it from a ScriptedDataSource. Is there any way to achieve it?
 
User -> Birt Viewer -> Servlet -> .rptdesign -> script

Solved by using ThreadLocal in the Servlet to attach the httpservletrequest object to the thread and get it from the script later....
