Login not working with iServer Management Console (admin capabilities)
CodeRookie

Hi, all! I just noticed today that, for some reason, mine and a select few fellow co-workers' login credentials will no longer work to get into iServer Management Console. We all have admin rights connected to our user names. I'm at a loss as to what has changed over the past 24 hours to cause this to happen. If anyone could point me in a direction to look for issues, I would be most appreciative.

Have a great evening!

Can you still log into Information Console with those user accounts?

CodeRookie

Jesse,

Yes, we can still do that. We have a link on our Sharepoint homepage that goes to the console, and the login is handled automatically when we log in to Windows (Active Directory). We had set up a select few of the users to have administrator capabilities, and could log in to the iServer Mgmt Console (this is what has quit working for us (our admin login abilities)). So, we're trying to track down the cause at the moment.

Thanks,

Can you provide more details on exactly what happens when you follow the link the management console?

Does it load but show a login failed message?

Are you accessing the bundled information console or a standalone information console?

Jesse,

Good morning! In the attached picture, you will see the message we receive when we try to log in to iServer Management Console when we use our Active Directory credentials (which have been give admin status in the console). Logging in under the 'Administrator' user name still works as it should, we've just lost the ability for chosen users to log in to the console.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Are you still working on this login issue?

Jesse,

Hi! Sorry, didn't see your reply..... We have found the issue! It had to do with having the wrong server names when we updated our systems. We're all good now. Thanks for your help!
