Creating Drop Down List and show Start Date and End Date with the calendar On dashboard

Hi,
 
Can anybody help me how i can create similar drop down list and Start and End Date in DASHBOARD.
I have created the *.datadesign to retrieve the data. 
As in the pic, when we select the Area (Area will be highligted), drop down list will come with the data having checkboxes. 
Can anybody suggest me what they have used in these pics.. like crosstab or treeview or calendar or something else..

What version of the iHub or iServer are you using?
 
You should be able to use a combination of calendar and check box selector gadgets linked to what ever element you are wanting to filter.

Thanks for your reply.

I am using BIRT iHub 3.1.1 (Build 231A150710).
I am still not able to create exactly same image as i have uploaded above. So, Now i am using view--> reportlet-->create selectors.
Hope so will able to create a good dashboard.
