<p>In some situations you can but it is not recommended.</p>

<p>Anything you add to the report that is a pro only feature, such as HTML5 charts, will prevent the report from running in open source because it does not have the required pro libraries.</p>

<p>You should use the version of the designer that corresponds to the engine you will be using the run the reports.</p>

<p>In the case of the professional designer, the reports are intended to be run from an iHub installation which contains all of the commercial libraries.</p>
