JulienC

Hi,

I'm trying to add the JDBC-ODBC Driver.

I've created the Data Source in my Windows Administrative tool and added the rt.jar file in my driver list in BIRT (Version 4.4.0).

But when i enter the URL ("jdbc:odbc:Comptoir") and test the connection i get the following error :

org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.JDBCException: There is an error in get connection, null

Yes, i've set the 'rt.jar' driver from the JRE directory and then tested my connection.

I also tested with others Access files, same result.

I'm not sure what Java version you are using, but it was removed from JDK 8.

What is the backend datasource/database that needs to use ODBC?

Hi,

I managed to find a solution trying multiple others drivers.

I found that http://www.hxtt.com/has
a working one.

Thanks for the help anyway.

Regards,
