opendeploy error

we have the following error message in several deployements
Deployment=**** got exception: null

at com.interwoven.deploy.util.TLogUtil.msgHeader(TLogUtil.java:259)
at com.interwoven.deploy.engine.TPhasedTask.log(TPhasedTask.java:246)
at com.interwoven.deploy.engine.TMicroDeploy.run(TMicroDeploy.java:891)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:484)
after this failure we can't rerun the same deployement
"Deployement **** is already running. Request to start it now cannot be done"
any hint ?

Sounds like a java thread got hung up, and now OD thinks it's still running.
Which version of OD? Latest SP and patches applied? Which platform? Latest O/S patches applied?
If a deployment thread is hung, the only way to release it is to bounce the OD process.

I'd suggest downloading and applying SP2 to your OD installation. (Apply to both your senders and receivers.)
Or upgrade to OD 5.6.
