Step by Step process to User management setting
actuser9

Hi,

We have recently installed ihub3.1.1 and are looking to use the LDAP/active directory setting. Does anyone in the forum provided sequential steps for implementing this? I know actuate provides some documentation but I would like to know the real time implementation.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

UY

Hi Actuser9,

You can find the documentation that details the steps here:

http://developer.actuate.com/be/documentation/ihub31-dev/SAG/index.html#page/admin/UMC_accounts.09.05.html

;

Find the header: Configuring User Management

After going through the steps a few times, it takes only minutes to put together the properties and then the amount of time to restart the iHub3. The turn around time would be affected by the speed of the configuration information provided by your LDAP/Active Directory Administrator.

If you do not have LDAP/AD, then you'll need to implement one of them. This would take a variable amount of time and an LDAP/AD Administrator could provide better details on turn around time than we could.

Regards,
