To increase Inter-Character Spacing

<p>Hi guys,</p>
<p>I need help on Inter-letter spacing. I’m using BIRT 4.3.2 to generate a PDF report. I need to increase the spacing between each character in the line. I’m using Text item as Dynamic and in HTML format. The sentence appears as “CANADA”, I need as “C A N A D A”(I have given actual blank spaces here, so the gap is too much). This option is available in MS Word, I suppose its called Kerning, not sure. It would solve my problem if someone could help me with same in BIRT.</p>

<p>Open your report and go to the Outline tab.  Right click Styles and select New Style.  Go to the Text Block option.  Enter a number where you see "Normal" in the Letter spacing field and then choose the desired units.  In the layout, right click the element containing the text and choose Style > Apply Style > Your style.</p>

<p>Attached is a sample report that might help.  The dynamic styling does not work in PDF, but the static styling does.</p>
