BIRT report - opening report in PDF/XLS format issue

I am using BIRT 4.4.2.
When report name is "reportname.rptdesign", it opens in html format.
But When report name is "reportname.rptdesign&__format=pdf", it shows following error:
 
"+ The report file : reportname.rptdesign&__format=pdf does not exist or contains errors."
could any one give me any solution please?

Did you have an URL like that to run the report in pdf ? :

Perhaps it is the order of the params ?

Sorry for late reply. That problem is solved. That was our projects configuration issue. URL params was not configured previously. After configuration it is working well
