How do I specify a field be equal to today's date?
raineyt

I've done this using a parameter where the user can enter today's date, but I want birt to automatically run it without input from the user.

The field I need to specify is called sched_date.

I'm hoping there is a simple answer to this, I am new to using BIRT and still learning.

Hi,

You can initialize your date field by using the following JavaScript syntax:

new Date();

Hope this helps,
