PDF rendering issues in migrating from version 2.5 to 4.4 of BIRT

<p>We are migrating some reports from 2.5 to 4.4. Issue we are facing is the the CSS seems to work differently in the two versions. The row height and cell padding visually is different and we are not able to match it. We have tried lot of different variations of CSS properties. We are told that the underlying BIRT engine to render PDF itself has changed.</p>

<p>Any ideas as to what could be changed to match the two versions of the reports? Is our only option hit and trial, although it hasnt worked for us yet. Are there any rules to follow to change CSS properties when migrating to 4.4?</p>

<p>I am having the same issue. We upgraded BIRT from 3.7 to 4.5 .  The row height is now larger and forms are going to 2 pages instead of 1. I tried changing the line height in the properties/advanced and was able to increase it but unable to narrow the spacing to where I need it.    </p>
