Hi, I am using teamsite 5.0 while generating the output as html using temeplate i got following error :
Could not process template: Y:\default\main\johndeeredotcom\agportal\WORKAREA\Rahul\templatedata\Generic\Article\presentation\Article1Column.tpl
:\default\main\johndeeredotcom\agportal\WORKAREA\Rahul\templatedata\Generic\Article\presentation\Article1Column.tpl

can any one help me ?

This is coming from when you click on Generate within the Edit DCR window? File > Generate from the TeamSite GUI? or what?

It might help to see your templating.cfg file.

Also - what are the chances that you may be able to upgrade to 5.5.2 (or 6.0) in the near future?

There is an error in your tpl. Have a close look at your tpl for the tags etc. Also I have found that some special characters for e.g copyright etc, cause problems even if they are inside CDATA.

If you still have problems attach the tpl, so that someone might be able to resolve it.
