Changing an exsisting birt report // Update XML Source

<p>Right now I'm changing the data sets of an exsisting birt report, so far everything worked fine and all the changed data sets and parameters give a preview result. But when it comes to the point of running the birt report i get all lot of errors from the XML Source (Column binding etc.).</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Is there a way of automatically updating the XML Source or does it have to be done manually?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Is there any "best practice" to change exsisting reports with XML source?</p>

<p>If you haven't done this yet, try right clicking any tables on the report corresponding to data sets that have been deleted or modified and choose "Edit Data Binding" from the menu.  Select the new data set for the binding.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>If you've tried that and are still getting errors then it would be helpful to see the specific error messages.</p>
