<p>Attached is a sample report that illustrates how to highlight a row when there is a duplicate value in a column. It uses the Classic Models database. I created it in BRD Pro 3.1.1, so you might get a warning if you try to run it in a different version of the software. Just click through the warning and the report should run without any issues.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The code to do the highlighting is in the detail row Highlight rule. The code highlights all rows in the report that have the same value for Country as one of the previous rows. There are a lot of duplicates in this set of data so you will see a lot of highlighting. If three rows have country = "Canada", only the second and third rows with Canada will be highlighted because the first instance is not a duplicate at the time it is created which is when the code runs.</p>
