<p>we are saving the header and footer for all our reports in our data sources. A variable like row["A4_header"] contains the header with a placeholder for the page number and the total page ({PAGENUMBER} and {TOTALPAGE}). We replace them with the BIRT-variables pageNumber and totalPage in the onRender method of a Dynamic Text which worked so far inside the frameset.</p>

<p>If we try to export the report as a pdf outside the frameset (using the run method) the values of pageNumber and totalPage are always 1.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Is there a way to get the correct page number and total page in one of the three methods of a Dynamic Text with the run method?</p>
