<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">Hi all,</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">Greeting of the day.</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">We have deployed the RPT design on weblogic.</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">When we run the report it loads in GUI and BIRT engine creates an internal file in temporary location at application server(say… 20160412_075447_073/Cards2.rptdocument ) and same file is being used for pagination(moving back and forth).</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">However while download operation either PDF or XLS the BIRT engine generates new separate files for both (20160412_075847_073/Cards2.rptdocument, 20160412_075547_073/Cards2.rptdocument).</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">As a result the download report takes more time and CPU utilization also spikes around 100%.</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">Can we read the same data file generated on report execution for download in PDF or execl or CSV.</span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color:#1f497d;"><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">Any help here is much appreciated. </span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>

<p>I'm assuming you're using the BIRT Viewer?</p>
