.dox report creation

<p>Hi </p>
<p>I have developed a report on .rptdesign and I was informed to change it to .dox.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Anyone have idea about .dox and how it can be created or any option to convert my existing report.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Im using Commercial Actuate BIRT Designer Professional </p>

<p>I am not sure who told you this but it is not possible. .DOX is a file format from another Actuate technology call e.Reports. There is no way to convert a BIRT report to .DOX. </p>

<p>What is it you are (or being told) trying to accomplish? I am asking from a use case perspective not a technology perspective.</p>

<p>Sorry i got confused, Is there anything called rpt doc? we have been using rptdesign so far.</p>

<p>From then Run menu 'Generate Document'. This will generate a RPTDOCUMENT. If you want to create a Word Document from the Run menu View Report/As DOC or DOCX.</p>
