Publishing BIRT Analytics reports on iHub
shilpagk14

Hi

I Have created sample analysis and advanced Analysis on BIRT Analytics. My next step is to publish those reports on ihub. I tried using ODA connectors, but using ODA connectors i can import only analysis data on BIRT Designer. My aim is to import complete analysis ( Data+ Charts).

Can anyone please tell me how to publish my reports on iHub ??

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

You cannot publish directly a BIRT Analytics analysis to iHub, i.e. the format used in BIRT Analytics to visualize analyses is not compatible with iHub.

However, in BIRT Analytics 5.x, there is an option on some analysis (such as cross tab, bubble, profile) to export the result to a BIRT report. (From the menu bar in a supported analysis, go to Export --> BIRT.) The report will include the appropriate data source and data set and will make the best attempt to replicate the display of data. The report is downloaded to the file system and you will need to import the report manually in iHub or BIRT Designer in order to run it.

In the newest release of BIRT Analytics (now called Big Data Analytics 16), the process of exporting an analysis to a BIRT report has been improved, and you can now export the report directly to iHub. It is also possible to export the data from an analysis directly to a data object on iHub.

Hope this helps,
