I was deleting stuff to check where's the problem.</span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(244,244,244);">Turn's out it seems birt can't load a PDF for a big 'detail row' table.</span><br><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(244,244,244);">Do the test to see if you find the same issue. Pretty simple: Start a new blank report, insert a table from the Palette tab (1 column and 1 details). Stretch the detail row to the end of the page. Save and try to run as PDF. it gets above 1Gb of RAM use and never finishes.</span><br><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(244,244,244);">I tested this on different machines, different eclipse versions (mars and kepler) and two different birt versions:</span><br>

Stretch a bit more than that and it eats all your RAM and never loads the report.</span><br><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;background-color:rgb(244,244,244);">(I'm using windows 8, core I5 CPU and 8G RAM)</span></p>
