<p>I'm new to extending BIRT but have read through 2 great books, BIRT A Field Guide and Integrating and Extending BIRT.</p>
<p>The RotateLabel/RotateText examples are great and have got me so far but I want to add a tooltip to my extension, can anyone point me in the right direction?</p>

<p>That leads to my second question....where do you guys go to learn this stuff? I was hoping to find more example report item extensions online I could download but all I would find was RotateLabel/RotateText.</p>
