External Task to Group Task

Hi,

Just wondering if it's possible to have a group task followed by an external task (email)? What I am trying to accomplish is to sending an email to a particular user of a group but than follow by a group task?

Well of course you can. I don't think you explained that very well, but the way you explained it - you should be able to do it. Have you tried it?

Group Task doesn't work. I think it doesn't know which user to send the email to. I am using the default iw_solution_email.ipl. But when I use a user task, it works fine.

If you are looking for the person who took ownership of the grouptask, then you have to do some work to get that information. Search for other threads that discuss grouptasks and you will probably find what you are looking for.
