Not getting multiple rows in table footer

<p>Hey, I am creating report on Eclipse and trying to add table with multiple rows in master page's footer. But I think we cann't insert the table in footer(as per my knowledge).Added the grid in footer and inserted the dataset's data, But here the problem is:- I am only getting the one row instead of multiple rows in grid.Please guide. Thanks a ton in advance.

<div>Thank you for your quick response. My Requirement is: we have to show comments based on type, Quote No & page no in footer. We can have multiple comments/rows like QUOTE FOOTER LINE 1, QUOTE FOOTER LINE 2 and so on. It shall be printed on all pages of a report. </div>

<p>Is there a seperate query for the footer? The issue is that it is difficult to make the footer size dynamic. Easiest is to store the data in page variables and display them in on render. The footer size should be the maximum size needed for max number of footer items. I hope this makes sense.</p>
