How to allign the Bars of a dual axis chart
harik

Hi All,

I am facing an issue with the bars of the chart that i have created not aligning to the center of each X axis groups. Please find attached the chart that i have and as you see Vehicle Util and Invalid ODO are bars plotted based on the Y-axis on the left hand side and the % Fleet Util is meant for the Y-axis on the right hand side. The bars as you see is not center aligned based on the ticks.

Is there a property of the Chart that i can use in the RPT design to get this alignment sorted? or should we be writing custom javascript to get this done.

Could anyone please guide me on this?

Are you using OS BIRT, or commercial BIRT? Which output format are you using?

Would you have an example .rptdesign that we can run in our environment to look into this?

Will this work for you?

beforeDrawSeries: function(series, seriesOptions, chart, seriesIndex)
{
if (seriesIndex <= (chart.getSeriesCount() / 2))
seriesOptions.pointPlacement = 0.25;
else
seriesOptions.pointPlacement = -0.2;
},
