Thanks you for the prompt response. Is there a way to use data from Python scripts directly in BIRT Report designer?

If it is callable somehow yes. Can you provide more details?

In BIRT report designer there is a provision of scripted data source and POJO data source. Is it somehow possible to call Python scripts for report data?

Exactly my point. How would an external program (BIRT in our case) call a Python script (I am not familiar with Python). Once BIRT can call the script, one can write a scripted data source.

It appears to be possible from Java, so we could call such a thing in the open event of the scripted data source.

Thanks for your prompt reply.Do you have an example for any such scenario? That will be really helpful. Thanks again for your help
